Objective of Basic health care support programme::
- To arrange easy accessibility of basic health care and support services equitably and in an improved manner.
- To improve the technical and relationship quality of health care services.
- To increase community involvement in relation to health care activities
- To improve health condition among the community groups and acquire knowledge on different health issues.
- To form village health forum and increased their capacity build up and aware the people to take Govt. health facilities.
Initiation of following programmes:
- Capacity buildup of civil society and private sector for better advocacy.
- Promotion of heath & health wellbeing in community setting.
- Promote equity in health and health care by working in partnership and consensus building.
- Strengthening community for taking action on health.
- Promotion of community health fund.
- Creation of mutual and networks such as babysitting circle.
- Information dissemination and sharing of case stories and good practices at various levels.
- Involve community members to identify problems and priority solution identification.
- Local initiatives-construction of community garbage pit.
- Strengthening and empowering communities by building social cohesion, critical awareness.
- Networking of community groups

- The partner has improved relationship with local Govt.and community groups.
- Community people acquired knowledge on Govt.health facilities and advocacy with Govt.Dept.
- Developed geriatric network.
- Increased confidence among the aged and advocacy with Govt.Dept.for geriatric demand.
- Develop adolescent networks.
- Develop resource map by VHSNC.
- BMOH facilitated programme.
- VHSNC taken local initiative of construction of community garbage pit.
- Govt. infrastructure issue for conducting Basic health care support programme.
